ERP–Manufacturing Integration & Workflow Automation Layer

Overview

Technical Solution

Azacore engineered an end-to-end manufacturing integration platform, beginning with a deep integration of the ERP system into core manufacturing processes. A centralized operations data model was created to consolidate production orders, material requirements, BOM structures, work-in-progress data, and quality-control checkpoints.

Real-time production inputs from machines, supervisors, and scanners were integrated into the ERP using a layered API architecture designed for high throughput and reliability. This ensured that every stage—from material issue to final inspection—was synchronized with ERP cost centers, inventory levels, and production forecasts.

A workflow automation layer was built on top of this integration, acting as an intelligent orchestration engine across all manufacturing stages. The workflow layer automated routing of production tasks, approvals, escalation of exceptions, and enforcement of quality checkpoints. Rules-based logic enabled automatic triggers such as issuing materials when a job started, generating QC tasks at specific WIP stages, and pushing real-time alerts for deviations in production performance.

To support operational analytics, Azacore implemented a performance dashboard suite with live KPIs including output efficiency, downtime, scrap rates, material usage variance, and job completion forecasts. These dashboards leveraged optimized SQL structures and event-driven data processing to give accurate, real-time visibility to supervisors and executives.
